(our focus is on maids that come and go on a daily basis,
but sometimes we will be able to help with live-in maids also.)

Catering especially to but not limited to, the new in-coming international community
of São Paulo, we provide you with our low-fixed-fee services of finding a driver or a good maid live-in or come-and-go and help you with the process of hiring and registering her/him and during the initial phase of the employment in your home. 
 
We speak English, German, Spanish and Portuguese -  so you don't have to !!!
 
We charge flat fees to stay impartial in our service:
R$580 translations and paperwork + empregado(a)
R$410 no translation, paperwork only + empregado(a)
R$280 Paper Packet only with hiring and registration info, INSS booklet, dicas, recipes, etc. but you find your own maid 
Motoristas are very often available for R$1000-1800 per month salary - our fee for motoristas is R$580. 
 
CURRENT ISSUE: 
WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR  MAID WHEN YOU GO ON VACATION:
It is not her problem or fault if/when you go on an extended vacation and hence she has the right to receive her normal salary. You can agree with her to come during that time and do a deep cleaning or watch the dogs or water the plants so she does something for her money if you feel comfortable leaving the keys with her. 
If not, she still has the right to receive her regular salary if she has not been with you for 12 months already. If she has been with you for 12 months already, you can conveniently send her on vacation also, and pay her her vacation up front (needs to be paid before going on vacation) and sign her vacation time into her carteira under FERIAS. 
If she has not completed her 12 months with you she does not have the right to vacation but does have a right to keep her job and get paid.  Otherwise you need to let her go and pay all outstanding proportional vacation time and 13th salary and regular salary before you go on vacation! 
 
Domestic employees can, after each 12 months worked, take either 30 days vacation (calendar days)  or
do a 20-10 day split - take 20 days and later on take or cash out 10 days. Those are the only 2 options they have
 
Where do our MAIDS come from? 

 

We aim to refer only maids of good report.  We accept referrals for new maids for our database from families or other maids and thoroughly pre-interview them. 

 
 
What do MAIDS usually do in Brazil?
 
She will make your beds and she will clean your floors
She can help you cook or cook lunch for you
She can watch your kids while you run errands
She will be the fairy in your home for all your needs
She will clean your dishes (dishwashers are not common here)
She'll work 3 to 5 days per week, as a come-and-go or sleep-in
 

 

How much will my MAID cost per month?

Salaries depend on negotiation! 

Minimum salary is currently 450 R$ per month in Sao Paulo. 

Average salaries are between 600-750R$ per month.

Expect and be willing to pay more if your apt is 200m2 or more.

Sleep-in maids and nannies are R$750+ per month.

 

If you do not legally employ her, meaning you won't sign her Carteira de Trabalho and/or pay the INSS tax, she can take you to court and WILL win the law suit in 100% of the cases if she is employed with you with regular days. 

In that case, you would be responsible for all INSS tax due for the time she worked with you instead of only your 12% portion, plus multas (late fees), plus have to pay vacation incl. the 1/3 additional, plus the 13th salary, plus interest, plus lawyer costs...
